Lotus Well
Habitually do I sound the depths of human hearts. Some stretch cloudless to the horizon, while others know only the drumbeat of rain.
VERY IMPORTANT HINT

Description
This is my game for Ludum Dare 57, the theme is Depth, and it belongs to the COMPO category.
I used Godot 4.4 as the game engine, drew with SAI2, made simple animations with Aseprite, and wrote BGM in Bandlab (although it was just a jumble of a few notes). The main part of the game took about 40h to complete.
Ah. Dead tired.
Gameplay
The necessary gameplay have been explained in the game and are only repeated here.
All you have to do is click on some blocks. They will activate other blocks, and then you can guess what happens and what the connection between them is.
Each chapter has a number of tasks, and the taskbar is located in the bottom-left corner of the screen. Complete all of them to advance to the next level.
There are currently six chapters. It takes 1-2 hours to get the best experience.
Some levels can be hard... But you can find a simple recipe in the comments here! As well, you can press Ctrl+ left or right keys to jump off.

It is a puzzle game with a beautiful atmosphere, where darkness is the base but the glowing UI effects shine! The puzzles get really brain-melting after Clover appears, but I somehow manage to push through to the end! It is a really lovely work, meow~! 🐾
Simple hints for all puzzles:
#2: The bulb's function is to power the four adjacent tiles. In other words, two adjacent bulbs can create a "perpetual motion" effect! Use two bulbs in the first column to repeatedly light up the ladder, making the second column cycle multiple times while using the flashlight to activate the horizontal ladder above, then move similarly sideways. Also, watch out for some strange flying objects (
#3: The functions of the blocks are fairly straightforward. Keep two bulbs adjacent and use the clover's rotation effect to make them traverse the entire space (like tank treads!). After the second task begins, a thunderstorm will trigger every 30 turns, destroying all unprotected areas (i.e., those without an umbrella above them). So try to move the umbrellas upward quickly!
#4: The two bulbs and two clovers at the start form a single unit. Try to move them together as much as possible. Maneuver around from above or below to eliminate all enemies.
old #5(scrapped): The puzzle itself is simple. Pay attention to the story hints! The correct password isdo - mi - so - #do#5: A bit complicated... First, try to move all umbrellas you find at the start upward to protect other tiles from thunderstorms. There are many enemies on the right, so it's best to collect all the wings on the left before tackling the right side. Some finer details also require attention.
